Change the fleet bugs!!

Can we please change this system where ships auto defend, it isn't going to encourage people to be active knowing that you lose your fleet a few ticks later and there isn't a damn thing you can do about it!!  I understand co-ordination is important, but not all of us can be on here 24 hours a day, and it is sickening that unless your ships defend on the 2nd tick at a neutral venue your fleet is gone... in rl, do you think the military would see a hot zone and just wander in when hopelessly outnumbered?  it is like a robbery, and penalises players for actually being active and attacking... now, unless you are online the tick that you launch, land, and you divert after the 1st and not the 2nd tick, which btw how the hell does that work if I go to a neutral venue with 1 tick of fuel why can't I be refuelled?!?!?!  basically, if you attack people and you have a rl outside of the internet your fucked.  Bravo for encouraging new players into the game...  :facepalm:

The home fleet does auto-defend. As for forcing all the *other* fleets to defend. Not happening. Big guys will just pick on little guys and you'll have *more* new players quitting right after they start cause no one will let them get any ships.

Btw, it's not a bug, it's working exactly like I intend it to work..

i thing what he is talking about is the fact that when a fleet returns from an attack it is put in defenses mode and if your not online to change it anyone that knows you just attacked knows when to launch to crush your fleet,

So the big guys are untouchable. The little guys can only band together one time to try to take them down, and then they lose their whole fleet. Or stay up all night to direct it back to a 20k planet that was created at the library for that sole purpose.

Are you accusing us of cheating? You asshole! You can't handle the fact that we are beating you FAIR and SQUARE. Come on this isn't the Wizard I know. Are you upset because you have no one to share Christmas with in RL? If we were creating these 20k library planets wouldn't you see these guys being used to access galaxy radar every once in a while? I think you need to look at your strategy versus ours and there you will find the reason why you're losing. You Mr. Wizard have been on when WTF has sent attack fleets at YOUR alliance mates but you neglected to send defense. You seem more concerned about your own pop than assisting your alliance mates. I have seen this on at least 3 occasions myself. If you want to complain about why TCF is losing look in the mirror. If you guys have those in Mississippi, other wise get on your hands and knees and look into your chickens water trough.

PS: TCF started losing mainly cause some d-bag abandoned the alliance.

P.S. Wizard have you ever heard of the phrase "I think you protest too much"? Basically you accused us of MAKING little multies. Do I detect a little projection? Is that something TCF has done or maybe thought about doing? Many times the person who accuses someone of doing something underhanded it's because they are doing it themselves. Hmmmm....

So, given that there are sixteen galaxies and everybody has an equal chance of ending up in any one of those galaxies, can you imagine what a colossal waste of fucking time it would be to actually sit around and try and land in the galaxy you wanted to be in?

I mean, sure, you might get lucky and hit it on the first or second try. Hell, some people win at scratch tickets, right?

Or you might end up with fifty failed attempts.... :-p

(I'm picturing some poor SOB at the library right now, pulling his hair out in frustration after the twentieth failed attempt to land in his galaxy of choice)

And don't the admins keep a record of IP address logins? Wouldn't they notice if there were a dozen new accounts all sharing the same IP address?

Rommy thanks for pointing that out. I figured it was unnecessary to point that fact out but after reading your post i realize there are enough people out there who needed that bit of information. I won't name names but I think we all know who these people are.

I could *force* one account per IP address if you really wanted it that way. I've always felt it was too excessive, but it could be done if it's really that big a problem...

L8 it's not a problem! They are lying about WTF! Reread this entire thread. You will see Wizard and Ninja are being babies. btw I'm fine with the 1 account per IP address but the guys who share IPs would have to jump through some hoops I don't think you or they are willing to do. That might decrease the number of players even more. I could be wrong and it wouldn't be the first time.  :P
