couple of new Ideas

 Here are a couple that I thought might add a little more excitement to the game.

   1.) somehow be able to attack an alliance's fleet and send agents to either steal their funds or spy on them.

   2.) Have disorganized fleets randomly attack other planets, maybe depending on the fleet size compared to planet's size.

disorganised fleets as pirates attacking people (from the DarkBladeNebula) is on my list of fun things to add (maybe for round 8).

alliance fleets can usually be attacked if they are being used to defend a planet by attacking that planet.

They should be "space trolls" or ISM and UGF start complaining that GSP gets free advertising.  :P

ok, here's two more ideas.

3.) The ability to send anonymous messages. This would have to cost a certain amount of M/E. obviously there would have to be some way to stop people from just Flaming or Spamming anonymously, but I think this would add to the ability to betray.

4.) A new type of Infiltrator: The Weather Bomb. This would give the enemy planet bad weather and -10% (or more) income for a given period of time.

How about this for a new idea. Set limits for dock access. We all need a little extra help now and again but there are time when the guys with dock access aren't around. Sure you can send a message and wait for a reply but why wait when the alliance leader can set a unit limit for each player he give access to? It could be based on cost or numbers of ships you're allowed to pull each time. This would also reduce the chances of members flushing the docks and quitting your alliance. If that's not an option then what about an option for the alliance leader to cancel the pull within X amount of ticks? How about the person that drains the docks has to remain in the alliance until the ships arrive, but during that 10 tick count down there is an option for the leader to reduce the amount that make it to that player?

I think that one probably wouldn't go down so well....... It'd get pretty annoying after a short time.

it would, but how about the amount of times you get attacked by these "space mercs" is dependent on your pop and number of times you've gone exploring in the darkblade nebula.

so the higher your pop and the more times you've hit the darkblade nebula the more times they hit you, but something reasonable, however this wouldn't work too well on the round, but on the perma it might be a possability

The problem with "space mercs" is similar to "pirates", there are already Mercs on perma and attacking randomly too. :P

What's so wrong with "space trolls"? Will somebody please think of the trolls?!!
